Parked my outside uni and went about my daily business only to be told by a friend at night that some of the people on my course had been looking at my car and laughing at it because it has "go faster stripes". This really annoyed me!! How cheeky!

Some people just have no clue! Oh just encase your wondering i only have side stripes!

The swines- each stripe is worth 20bhp!! Don't they know anything?? ;-)

Probably just jealous so I wouldn't worry- I had a Fiat Cinquecento when I was at college, that was something to laugh about! :-)

same here sometime people do laught because of stripes! they think its a crappy fiesta with stripes on! nut when u pull away whose laugh now!don't pay intention about them! they don't have a clue! keep ur stripes! at least u got a nice car not them!!Most people say my car look very nice that because of the stripes u get notice with them!!

Aaron that did make me laugh that would have been some reply! Wish i could think on my feet. I just wanted to moan about it they are totally unreal! I c the point if it was a wee nova but come on an needs to have stripes

colleage at work laught at my ST stripes! but don't car because I know I own the best car! I dont drive 206 shity diesel or base clio! so they jalouse of it i think!

It twas indeed, 'sporting' a full 55hp. My mate had a normal one at the time and he thought it was some kind of rocketship by comparison! lol, how perceptions change over the years!!

for my first car I wanted one of them! almost bought one fully done up but it was sold just before I find it!

Probably. The main culprit drives a mazda 323! Its just so annoyin when u get a new car your uni "pals" cant say a nice thing about it! They could lie even if they dont like it

my dad and neighbours told me my car looks pathetic with side stripes on and im lowering the image making it look tacky and cheap.
But i love them and so does everyone on here so sod them

when i put my 1st side stripes on (they went a bit wrong and I have still not sorted out puting the new ones on ) one of the lads at work thought it would be funny to tape really bad white lines on one of the others rusty old banger ........ they are just jelous of the cos its so nice so f**k em i say
